I fell in love with the faerie realm as soon as Brie stepped afoot there. Little did she know that there is something bigger at play and her life is at stake. But when Jas is sold to a faerie, Brie has no choice but to go and find her sister. Determined to change their fortune, Jas persuading her sister to go even though she knew Brie want nothing to do with the faeries. Then words came that the portal to the faerie realm will be opened because a ball will be held in the Seelie Court with the purpose to find a human bride for the Seelie prince. Through the opening scene, Brie came across as brave, quick-witted, and didn’t hesitate to sacrifice herself if it meant saving her sister-Jas-or others. Left by her mother with a little sister when she’s only eight forced her to make difficult choices thus putting herself in danger. The stories started by introducing us to Abriella on a night when she was about to stole from one of the wealthy men in Fairscape.

So the day I got approved of the digital ARC of These Hollow Vows, I’m buzzed with excitement. I could never turn down any books about faeries and I enjoyed those two series. When my eyes landed on the words A Court of Thorns and Roses meet The Cruel Prince on the synopsis, I was instantly sold.
